Shit happens. So when it does don’t blame yourself, don’t ask why, just remember that sometimes stuff happens for no reason whatsoever. Don’t overthink it.
Don’t be too hard on yourself. Don’t think what if, don’t look back and wonder what could or would have happened had you’d chosen a different path in life. Focus on the present, don’t worry about the future and don’t dwell on the past.
Accept the inevitability of change and remember that change can be a good thing and that the timing of change can be good too, don’t let change scare you. Be responsible, be patient and don’t let new challenges paralyse you.
Don’t feel guilty for feeling a certain way, don’t put unessecary pressure on yourself, and as you go through life, don’t ever forget who you or what you want. Keep perspective and don’t lose focus.
Learn from experience, experiences make you grow, they make you stronger and they give you hindsight for future experiences. Don’t regret past experiences, they could help you when you least expect it.
Speak up, communicate, don’t be afraid to say how you feel and don’t be afraid to ask how other’s feel, you’ll be surprised at their answers.

Remember it’s not always sunshine and rainbows, jazzhands and carpe diem and that is normal. It’s okay to have a bad day, bad week, month, year-whatever. Don’ feel bad for having a bad day. We have bad days so we know when the good ones come along.
Don’t take life too seriously. We’ve all heard the expression if you don’t laugh, you’ll cry. As the saying goes, laughter is the best medicine and this is not to be underestimated. So dance like a loon, pull a funny face, be a bit silly. Life is short, life is hard but it’s your life and how you deal with it- how you get by is in your hands.
Lastly, don’t let anyone stop you being you, you are unique, you are brilliant, you are beautiful. Don’t live your life for anyone but yourself, life can be so much better when you stop thinking about what others think and start to actually live for yourself. Don’t be selfish, be self-fullfilled, be proud of who you are and be happy being you.
